Northrop Grumman in Utah is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the SDS Support and Training (S&T) Support Equipment team. You will coordinate with suppliers, review designs, and integrate with NG teams to ensure requirements are met and designs are robust.

The role involves CAD modeling in NX, design reviews, and developing mechanical products for aerospace programs. The standard 9/80 schedule supports work-life balance and a clear path to career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field
• Minimum of 2 years (level 2) or 5 years (level 3) of relevant experience
• U.S. citizen
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
• Must have the ability to obtain a SAP clearance
• Experience performing CAD modeling with design tools such as Siemens NX or similar
• Experience performing mechanical design efforts on MILCON, major infrastructure/building projects, or Aerospace and Defense programs.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
• Ability to understand and interpret requirements
