Sprouts Farmers Market in California is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to lead a team, uphold high standards in quality and service, and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced, fresh-food environment.

You will plan cuts, coach staff, manage schedules, monitor inventory, and partner with store leadership to drive sales and profitability while maintaining safety and compliance in all meat and seafood operations.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant settings, including leadership.
• Stand for up to 4 hours per shift and up to 8 hours per shift with possible walking up to 2 miles.
• Work in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Lift/carry 25–90 lbs. up to 10 ft., and operate equipment as needed.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with customers and team.

Aufgaben

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise.
• Coach and develop team members with performance reviews and merit decisions.
• Attend in-store meetings regularly.
• Recruit and promote staff in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Address team concerns with independent judgment when needed.
• Document corrective actions and work with HR on performance management.
• Create and adjust schedules to maximize productivity.
• Communicate standards, policy changes, and product knowledge.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality product and great customer experience.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty when needed.
