Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to lead a busy Meat & Seafood department, ensuring quality, freshness, and exceptional customer service. You will assist in ordering, inventory controls, staff training, and department merchandising while maintaining safety standards and efficient operations.

The role requires strong teamwork, ability to manage competing priorities, and a commitment to providing a positive shopping experience for customers in a fast-paced retail

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
• Assist in leading a team to deliver high-quality product, service, and customer experience
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Meat & Seafood team
• Follow weekly ad items, inventory and ordering; enforce department practices for receiving, stocking and unloading to ensure freshness and quality
• Unload and sort deliveries, operate and maintain meat & seafood equipment
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
