Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to support the Meat & Seafood department, ensuring the highest standards of quality, freshness, and customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will help lead a busy team, manage inventory and order fulfillment, and implement company policies to maintain safety and cleanliness. This role requires reliable leadership and a willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years professional experience, proven leadership experience, 2-3 years of grocery retail experience in Meat department preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Meat & Seafood team.
