Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to lead one of the busiest departments and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.

You will assist in managing the Meat & Seafood team, oversee inventory and ordering, and help ensure freshness and quality while adhering to safety standards. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with basic math, weights and measures.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience with proven leadership experience; 2–3 years grocery retail experience in Meat department preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to train and develop the Meat & Seafood team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in department management, merchandising, and productivity.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, planning, and teamwork to deliver quality products and service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing staff in the Meat & Seafood department.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
