Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years professional experience in grocery retail meat department.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to supervise a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising and sales through planning, direction and teamwork.
• Lead in hiring, teaching and developing the Meat & Seafood team.
• Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation and department procedures.
