Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer with deep Master Data Management expertise to join the SMB Solution Engineering team. You will be the technical authority on MDM, guiding customers from discovery to Proofs of Concept and architectural recommendations that tie MDM to business outcomes.

Collaborate with Account Executives, deliver tailored demonstrations, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and stay ahead of the evolving MDM and iPaaS landscape while bridging MuleSoft and Informatica GTM

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales or delivery roles designing, configuring, and demonstrating MDM solutions.
• Strong knowledge of MDM fundamentals: identity & entity resolution, data modeling, governance & workflows, data integration, headless MDM.
• Experience with cloud technologies — iPaaS, SaaS, cloud infrastructure.
• Experience building PoCs and responding to RFIs/RFPs independently.
• Ability to lead architectural discussions and work with Account Executives and customers.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with AEs and customers to qualify deals, identify business value, and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct technical discovery to document, analyze, and clarify business and MDM-specific requirements.
• Deliver solution demonstrations, whiteboarding sessions, architecture workshops, and PoCs that showcase MDM capabilities in SMB contexts.
• Respond to RFI/RFP documents independently.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to improve MDM offerings.
• Stay ahead of evolving MDM, iPaaS, and AI landscape; understand competitive positioning.
