Job summary

Salesforce is seeking several Pre-Sales Solution Engineers to join the Data Foundation Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team, helping customers build a trustworthy data foundation with MuleSoft and Informatica. You will partner with sales to translate technical solutions into business value and guide customers through RFIs, architecture workshops, and meaningful demos.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required (BS, Master’s, or PhD).
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
Hands-on Java development experience and ability to code and debug against Java APIs is preferred.
Experience with cloud technologies and data management concepts.
Ability to travel 30-40% and work across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

Building trusted relationships with internal and external partners to qualify deals, identify business value, and provide technical guidance to set expectations for customer success.
Conducting technical discovery meetings to document and analyze business and technical requirements for detailed solution proposals.
Delivering architecture reframes and developing white-boarding skills through shadowing and customer-scene role playing.
Responding to RFIs/RFPs and supporting demos and PoC efforts.
Collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to improve Data Foundation products and marketing.
