Salesforce is seeking several Pre‑Sales Solution Engineers to join the Data Foundation Pre‑Sales team, focusing on MuleSoft and Informatica platforms. You will help customers build a trusted data foundation, qualify deals, and deliver technical demonstrations from proof of concept to implementation.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, strong Java and cloud knowledge, and the ability to travel as needed.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required (BS, Master's, or PhD).
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
• Hands-on Java development experience and ability to code and debug against Java APIs.
• Experience with cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, data warehousing, database, and BI concepts; master data match/merge and survivorship.

• Building trusted relationships with internal and external partners to qualify deals, identify business value, and provide technical guidance in order to set expectations to ensure customer success
• Conducting technical discovery meetings to document, analyze, and clarify business and technical requirements to support a detailed solution proposal, managing customer engagements independently
• Delivering architecture reframe and developing white‑boarding skills through shadowing and customer‑scenario role playing
• Responding to RFIs/RFPs and supporting demos at marketing and field events
• Working hands‑on with prospects and customers to deliver standard, customized, and/or strategic solution demonstrations, white boarding, presentations, architecture workshops, and best practices that showcase the capabilities and business benefits of Data Foundation solutions
• Collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to improve Data Foundation products and marketing, surfacing customer feedback on product gaps
• Staying ahead of evolving technology landscape and maintaining understanding of AI/tools to position MuleSoft's and Informatica's value
• Partner with the Customer Success Management team on nurture activities and technical advisory
• Provide ongoing post‑sales technical guidance to drive adoption of Data Foundation's solutions and digital transformation success
