Job summary

Talentify is seeking a seasoned Materials and Supply Chain leader to direct shipping, receiving, warehousing, and materials planning in a high-volume automotive setting. You will implement inventory systems for raw, WIP and finished goods, and ensure on-time production through robust scheduling and lean methods.

The role emphasizes collaboration with plant leadership, corporate materials, and interplant teams to drive cost efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP SAP and quality mgmt systems such as QOS, QS9000 and KAIZEN.
• ASCM or APICS certification is required.
• Lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Automotive manufacturing experience a plus.
• Experience with sales, inventory, OPS planning and other supply chain practices.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of shipping, receiving, warehousing and related personnel.
• Develop robust systems for plant inventory levels including raw, WIP and finished goods.
• Implement purchasing, production scheduling, logistics and inventory control processes.
• Oversee production and scheduling practices to align with plant and corporate goals.
• Support lean manufacturing principles and new product introductions.
• Coordinate with corporate materials and interplant teams.
