Job summary
VIP, Inc. is seeking a Master Technician to perform diagnostic and repair services across engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, and more. The role emphasizes safety, accurate service work orders, and thorough customer engagement.
The technician will complete required training, maintain shop standards, and uphold VIP processes to provide a superior customer experience. ASE certifications and state inspections are part of the required qualifications.
Qualifications
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions and procedures.
- Explain vehicle information to customers clearly.
- Diagnose and recommend solutions to automotive problems.
- Interpret and apply written/oral instructions.
- Able to perform listed automotive services.
Responsibilities
- Maintain workplace safety as priority; follow safety policies.
- Provide diagnosis, repair, and maintenance services for customer vehicles.
- Initiate Service Work Orders and display them with the vehicle.
- Complete MPI prior to service; support 5-for-5 Customer Engagement.
- Return parts to desk; secure cores and used tires.
- Maintain productivity targets and conduct shop maintenance.
- Complete LMS training and safety certifications; participate in meetings.
