Job summary

VIP is seeking a Master Technician to perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance across engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, and related systems. You will work safely, follow VIP processes, and ensure quality work the first time.

The role requires completing service work orders, MPI processes, and ongoing training, with opportunities to pursue ASE certifications and contribute to customer satisfaction. This is a non-exempt, onsite position at VIP locations in the region.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical instructions and procedures
• Explain vehicle information to customers clearly
• Diagnose and propose repair solutions
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Able to perform listed automotive services

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety as Priority #1.
• Provide diagnostics, repair, and maintenance services across vehicle systems.
• Initiate Service Work Orders and display them with the vehicle.
• Complete MPI and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process.
• Return parts to the Desk Team and manage cores/tires properly.
• Maintain 16-week productivity targets for the position.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
