Job summary

VIP, Inc. seeks a Master Technician to lead diagnostic and repair work for a broad range of automotive systems, ensuring high-quality, first-visit fixes. You will follow VIP safety and process standards, manage service orders, and drive customer engagement through clear communication and teamwork.

The role requires completing training and ASE certifications to maintain technical excellence while delivering reliable service and adherence to regulatory requirements across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1.
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems to diagnose and fix issues on first visit.
• Initiate and display Service Work Order before service.
• Complete MPI prior to service and support 5-for-5 Customer Engagement.
• Return unused parts to Desk Team after service.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and proper tool organization.
• Drive adherence to VIP quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Complete required training and ASE certification for the position.
• Support and educate customers about vehicle condition via the 5-for-5 process.
