Job summary

VIP, Inc. in New Hampshire is seeking a Master Technician to join our Service department. The Master Tech will diagnose automotive systems, perform repairs and replacements, and ensure high-quality service is delivered to customers in a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include completing Service Work Orders, handling parts through the Desk Team, returning cores and tires appropriately, and maintaining 16-week productivity goals. ASE certification goals and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge, skills, and abilities to read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals, procedures, or regulations.
• Ability to diagnose and recommend solutions to automotive problems.
• Ability to explain vehicle information to customers and work with coworkers.
• Comply with safety and hazardous waste handling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems and replace parts, fluids, tires and accessories.
• Follow safety policies, use protective equipment, and report unsafe conditions.
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is created and displayed during service.
• Complete required training and ASE certifications as specified.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and proper tool/equipment handling.
• Participate in the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process and team meetings.
