Jim 'N Nick's Community Bar-B-Q in Huntsville, AL seeks a hands-on pit crew member to own the pit and meat operation, run smokers with skill and consistency, cut and portion to spec, and monitor quality of every pound that leaves your station.

You'll manage inventory and waste, follow processes, and uphold safety and sanitation, because the brand rides on what comes off the smoker. This role is high-energy, on your feet, and requires discipline and pride in craft.

Qualifications

• Experience as a pitmaster, meat cutter, line cook, expediter, or prep cook is wanted here.
• You're disciplined, consistent, and genuinely proud of the craft.

Responsibilities

• Own the pit and meat operation: run smokers with skill and consistency.
• Cut and portion to spec, and monitor the quality of every pound that leaves your station.
• Manage inventory and food waste in the pit and meat area, follow process and procedure to the letter.
• Hold the line on safety and sanitation.
