Jim 'N Nick's Community Bar-B-Q seeks a hands-on pit and meat specialist to own the pit and meat operation, run smokers with skill and consistency, and ensure every pound of smoked meat meets quality standards. You will manage inventory and waste in the pit area, follow procedures, and uphold safety and sanitation as a key brand standard.

Ideal candidates are experienced pitmasters or line cooks who are disciplined, reliable, and proud of their craft.

Qualifications

• Experience as pitmaster, meat cutter, line cook, expediter, or prep cook preferred.
• Must be disciplined, consistent, and take pride in craft.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor smokers, cut and portion meat to spec.
• Manage inventory and food waste in the pit area, follow procedures to the letter.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards to protect the brand.
