Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Master Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, ensuring services are completed correctly the first time. You will follow VIP processes, perform parts installation, maintain safety standards, and participate in customer engagement activities.

This role operates on a non-exempt hourly basis with standard 40-hour weeks, focusing on safety, quality, and efficient shop performance in Maine.

Qualifications

• One year of automotive service experience.
• Two-year college or technical program recommended.
• Equivalent education/experience acceptable.
• ASE G1, A4, A5 certifications recommended.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1.
• Provide diagnostics, repair, and maintenance for automotive systems.
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated prior to service.
• Complete MPI and support 5-for-5 Customer Engagement.
• Keep work area clean and organized and follow safety programs.
