Job summary

Zipline is offering a Spring 2027 internship in South San Francisco. The role focuses on building marketplace playbooks around pricing, promotions, and partner prioritization, while evaluating site and cohort performance to guide growth initiatives.

You will develop recurring dashboards with Analytics and contribute to cross-functional decision making. The position requires enrollment in a master's program, strong analytical skills, and the ability to present findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a master's degree program.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data analysis using spreadsheets.
• Ability to investigate performance across sites, cohorts, and metros and provide clear recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting findings to cross-functional partners.
• Collaborative, self-directed mindset with curiosity about marketplaces, logistics and tech.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and build the playbook for marketplace levers such as pricing, promotions, partner prioritization, budget allocation, demand shaping, and customer-experience protection.
• Analyze site and cohort performance to identify priorities for sales resources, marketing actions, product rollouts, operational playbooks, or other growth programs.
• Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards, collaborating with Analytics to improve visibility into site, cohort, and metro performance.
• Support daily and weekly site-level performance readouts covering marketplace health, growth, efficiency, utilization, fulfillment, customer outcomes, and profitability.
• Monitor aircraft availability, fulfillment throughput, throttling, and operational constraints; identify risks affecting growth plans or customer experience.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Utilization teams to translate insights into action, measure results, and scale effective initiatives.
