Sazerac Co. is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive growth with on-premise and off-premise accounts across its diverse spirits portfolio. You will craft solutions to expand market share, lead distributors in selling, and execute programs to meet volume objectives.

The role emphasizes analytics, relationship building, and collaboration with wholesalers and the internal team. Travel within the territory and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 year of professional field sales in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries; new grads may have internships or sales roles.
• Results-driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to meet distribution and promotional goals.
• Technical savvy: Use of sales data analytics and tools to drive results, identify trends.
• Mobility: Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.
• Schedule: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Location: Live in or near the territory.
• Expenses: Able to cover business expenses that will be reimbursed.
• Compliance: Obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Craft growth solutions for assigned accounts to boost market share.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Support distribution and volume objectives for core brands.
• Develop mutually valuable rapport with customers and understand their needs.
• Collaborate with wholesalers and internal teams to achieve KPIs.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure goals are met.
