Job summary

OneWater Marine is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to deliver an outstanding service experience at our Marco Island location. You will manage service scheduling, communicate with customers, and ensure timely, forward-looking repairs and estimates.

Ideal candidates bring 2-3 years in customer service or service advisory roles, preferably with marine or automotive experience, and familiarity with marine terminology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of experience in a customer service or service advisor role, preferably in automotive, marine, or related industries.
• Experience in a service department with marine experience as a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of marine equipment, boats, engines, and parts is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with basic marine maintenance and repair terminology.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service work and processes retail, warranty and internal repair orders efficiently and timely.
• Maintains repair records for supervision or control.
• Manages technician workflow and schedules assigned repair orders appropriately.
• Performs detailed write-ups of customer concerns using Complaint, Cause & Correction and provides timely estimates for approval.
• Collaborates with the service manager to improve internal processes and efficiency.
• Builds and maintains positive customer and manufacturer relationships to strengthen loyalty and referrals.
• Assists in determining materials, supplies, and parts to be used or stocked.
• Resolves customer complaints promptly and seeks ways to improve service.
• Obtains warranty or service contract approvals promptly.
• Communicates with customers on status and completion of repairs.
• Performs quality checks on finished boats ensuring repairs and cleanliness.
• Participates in assessing technician productivity and assists in staffing decisions.
• Monitors and implements legal compliance measures.
