Job summary

OneWater Marine is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service at the Fort Myers store. You will coordinate service orders, communicate with customers, and collaborate with technicians and management to ensure timely, high-quality repairs.

The role requires 2–3 years in a customer service or service-advisor role, ideally in marine or automotive settings, with knowledge of marine equipment and terminology. Local candidates preferred for a hands-on, busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a customer service or service advisor role, preferably automotive, marine, or related industries
• Experience in a service department (marine service experience a strong advantage)
• Knowledge of marine equipment, boats, engines, and parts preferred
• Familiarity with basic marine maintenance and repair terminology

Responsibilities

• Schedules service work and processes retail, warranty and internal repairs orders efficiently and in a timely manner
• Maintains repair records for supervision or control
• Manages technicians’ workflow and schedules assigned repair orders appropriately
• Performs detailed write-up of customers’ concerns and provides timely estimates for approval
• Collaborates with the service manager to improve internal processes and efficiency
• Builds and maintains positive customer and manufacturer relationships to strengthen loyalty
• Resolves customer concerns promptly and ensures the best possible service experience
• Obtains warranty or service contract approvals promptly
• Communicates proactively with customers about status and completion of repairs
• Performs quality control checks on finished boats and repairs; ensures cleanliness
