Job summary

OneWater Marine in Destin is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver an outstanding customer service experience at the store. You will delight customers and drive timely, profitable service, while maintaining efficient operations.

The role requires 2–3 years in customer service or service advisory work, with marine knowledge preferred. You will coordinate repairs, communicate status to customers, and support warranty processes in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 2–3 years of customer service or service advisor experience preferred.
• Marine service experience is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of marine equipment, boats, engines, and parts preferred.
• Familiarity with basic marine maintenance and repair terminology.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service work and processes retail, warranty and internal repairs efficiently.
• Maintains repair records for supervision and control.
• Manages technicians' workflow and schedules orders.
• Performs detailed write-ups of customer concerns with required work and estimates.
• Collaborates with the service manager to improve processes and efficiency.
• Builds and maintains customer and manufacturer relationships to increase loyalty.
• Maintains supplies and determines materials and parts to stock and sell.
• Resolves customer concerns promptly and proactively informs customers.
• Obtains warranty or service contract approvals timely.
• Communicates with customers about status and completion of repairs.
• Performs QC checks on finished boats and repairs.
• Participates in evaluating technician productivity and training.
• Monitors and implements legal compliance measures.
