Job summary

OneWater Marine is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service at our store. You will delight customers by coordinating service, warranty, and repairs efficiently and profitably.

You will manage technician workflows, provide accurate repair write-ups and timely estimates, and foster strong relationships with customers and manufacturers to support loyalty and referrals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years in a customer service or service-advisor role, automotive/marine preferred.
• Experience in a marine service environment is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of marine equipment, boats, engines and parts preferred.
• Familiarity with basic marine maintenance terminology.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service work and process retail, warranty and internal repairs orders efficiently.
• Maintain repair records for supervision or control.
• Manage technician workflows and schedules for assigned repairs.
• Write up customer concerns and provide timely estimates for approval.
• Collaborate with the service manager to improve processes and efficiency.
• Build and maintain positive customer and manufacturer relationships to strengthen loyalty.
• Assist in determining parts to stock and manage flow of supplies.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and look for better service approaches.
• Obtain warranty or service contract approvals in a timely manner.
• Communicate proactively with customers about repair status and completion.
• Perform quality checks on finished boats for repair completion and cleanliness.
• Assist in assessing technician productivity and participate in interviewing/training.
• Monitor and implement legal compliance measures.
