Job summary

Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies team seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps. You will bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements, supporting acquisition stakeholders and delivering demonstrations across expeditionary, littoral, ground, airborne, and unmanned environments.

Expect up to 50% travel for field tests and customer meetings, with a 100% remote option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Network Engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• US Citizen; background check and drug test required.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures are technically sound.
• Align work with strategic BD priorities and customer needs.
• Develop technical demonstrations for expeditionary networks.
