Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Business Development Engineer for US Marine Corps programs. You will bridge RF/SDR capabilities with defense customer requirements, supporting field tests, demonstrations, and strategic planning.

You will work with Engineers and Business Development to align roadmaps, engage with MARCORSYSCOM and MCWL, and travel up to 50% for field activities. A security clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS, or Network Engineering; or 5+ years relevant defense tech work.
• Experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles.
• Security clearance: SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Support field tests, customer meetings, and demonstrations for Marine Corps programs.
• Demonstrate technical capabilities and interoperability of StreamCaster radios.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering and Business Development to align roadmaps.
• Engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval warfare centers.
• Gather field feedback and translate into product roadmap inputs.
• Prepare and present technical demonstrations tailored to expeditionary networking needs.
• Perform market research for potential integrations with industry partners.
• Assist BD in coordinating across technical stakeholders and reports.
