Motorola Solutions is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You will work with Engineering and Business Development to support acquisition stakeholders and demonstrate our StreamCaster radio portfolio across diverse environments.

The role involves up to 50% travel for field tests and demonstrations, with a remote option depending on location. A SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux environments, or scripting languages (Python, C++) for test automation.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team setting and travel up to 50% for field tests.

Responsabilités

• Support US Marine Corps acquisition stakeholders with Engineering and Business Development teams.
• Demonstrate interoperability and field-readiness of StreamCaster radios across expeditionary environments.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests, customer meetings, and demonstrations; remote work possible depending on location.
• Translate Marine Corps requirements into technical solution inputs for product roadmaps and field trials.
• Plan networks, configure systems, and execute live field trials and user evaluations.
• Leverage benchmarking data to ensure proposed architectures are technically sound.
• Collaborate with Business Development to align work with strategic priorities and engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval warfare centers.
• Capture field feedback to influence product roadmaps and track engineering progress against operational needs.
