Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Business Development Engineer, US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps needs. You will support Applications Engineering with field-readiness demos and technical planning, traveling up to 50% for testing and engagements.

Ideal candidates have SDR experience, IP networking skills, and the ability to operate in remote, cross-functional teams while aligning with strategic priorities and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of experience.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems is required.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Applications Engineering and collaborate with Engineering and Business Development teams.
• Demonstrate interoperability and field-readiness of StreamCaster MANET radios across environments.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests, meetings, and demonstrations; remote work may be possible.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs and support technical planning.
• Build and present technical demos tailored to expeditionary networks and tactical edge needs.
• Engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems and naval centers as needed.
