Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You will work with engineering and business development to support acquisition stakeholders and demonstrate field-ready StreamCaster radios across diverse environments.

Travel up to 50% for field tests and demonstrations; remote work option depending on location.

Qualifications

• BS in EE/CE/CS or related field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months; US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with BD and Eng teams to verify architectures are technically sound.
• Maintain alignment with BD team to support strategic needs.
• Build and present technical demonstrations for expeditionary littoral and edge networking needs.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses.
• Travel 50% for field tests and customer meetings.
