Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps. You bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements and support field tests and demonstrations.

Reporting to the Director of Applications Engineering, you will work with Engineering and Business Development to showcase StreamCaster radios across expeditionary environments. Moderate travel up to 50% is expected, with remote options based on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or HS diploma with 5+ years in defense tech.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• U.S. citizenship required for government contracts.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communications.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work remotely if location permits.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architecture is technically sound.
• Align work with strategic priorities with Business Development.
• Develop and deliver technical demonstrations for expeditionary networks.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with technical input.
• Perform market research on integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval centers.
• Gather field feedback to inform product roadmap inputs.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer meetings.
