Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps. You will bridge RF radio capabilities with Marine Corps requirements, supporting field demos and test-ops across diverse environments while coordinating with engineering and BD teams.

Travel up to 50% and remote-work options are available depending on location. Strong communication and technical demo skills are essential in this experienced role within the Applications Engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in a technical field with 2–5 years in systems engineering, business development, or defense tech.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communications.
• Experience with RF test equipment and field trials is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/hold SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Create technical demos for expeditionary and edge networking needs.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and partner with BD for strategic priorities.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer engagements.
