Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements and emerging trends. You will collaborate with the Applications Engineering and Business Development teams to demonstrate interoperability and field readiness of our StreamCaster radios across expeditionary environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering or defence tech.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements and emerging trends.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and field trials.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to validate solution architectures.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development for strategic priorities.
• Build and present technical demos for expeditionary networking needs.
• Perform market research for partner integrations and end-to-end architectures.
