Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps. Bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps customer requirements and emerging trends.

Support field-readiness demonstrations across expeditionary, littoral, and tactical edge networks. Role involves up to 50% travel for field tests and customer meetings; 100% remote work option depending on location, with collaboration across Applications Engineering and Business Development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field; OR HS diploma with 5+ years of relevant technical/defence experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and map Marine Corps network requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Lead technical planning, network configuration, and field trials.
• Support verification through testing and benchmarking data.
• Collaborate with Business Development to address technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Deliver technical demonstrations tailored to expeditionary neural and tactical edge networking.
• Conduct market research for potential integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with MARCORSYCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval warfare centers.
• Gather field feedback to influence product roadmap and track engineering progress.
