Job summary

Silvus Technologies is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements. You will work with Engineering and Business Development to showcase field-ready StreamCaster radios across diverse environments, traveling up to 50% for trials and customer engagements.

The role requires a technical degree with 2–5 years of systems engineering or defense tech experience, security clearance eligibility, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing USMC priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support planning, network configuration, and live on-air field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with team to ensure architectures are technically sound.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development to support technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Build and present technical demonstrations for expeditionary and edge networking needs.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and market research for partnerships.
• Travel 50% for field tests and customer meetings; remote work option depending on location.
