Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a leading defense comms innovator and a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer focused on US Marine Corps. The role bridges RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements, supporting field-ready StreamCaster radios across expeditionary and tactical environments.

You will work with Engineering and Business Development to demonstrate interoperability, guide roadmaps, and engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, and PEO Land Systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering or defense tech roles.
• Security clearance: active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC operational priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support planning, network configuration, and field trials.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to verify solution architectures.
• Align work with Business Development priorities and perform technical demos.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and market research for partner integrations.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and demonstrations.
