Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements. You will support engineering and BD teams in field tests, demonstrations, and roadmap alignment for StreamCaster radios across expeditionary environments.

You’ll travel up to 50% for customer meetings, trials, and demos, with a remote work option depending on location, and coordinate with MARCORSYCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years relevant experience; OR HS Diploma with 5+ years in tech/defense.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing protocols, or tactical comms systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC operational priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks, and execute field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures are technically sound and align with strategic priorities.
• Support BD in tailoring technical demos for expeditionary environments.
• Prepare technical input for RFI/RFP proposals and test end-to-end networks.
