Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps defense needs. This role involves supporting acquisition stakeholders, demonstrating capabilities, and ensuring field readiness of StreamCaster radios across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing USMC priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support planning, network configuration, and live-on-air field trials.
• Collaborate to verify proposed architectures are technically sound.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development for technical needs.
• Assist in building and presenting technical demos for expeditionary networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses with technical input.
