Job summary

Motorola Solutions, through its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements and emerging trends. You will work with Applications Engineering to demonstrate interoperability and field readiness of the StreamCaster MANET radios across expeditionary, littoral, ground and airborne environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related C5ISR field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in systems engineering, business development, or defence tech.
• Knowledge of SDRs, IP routing, and RF testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mapping operational requirements to tactical radios and network designs.
• Support planning, configuration, and live field trials of fielded systems.
• Collaborate to ensure architectures are technically sound and benchmarked.
• Align with Business Development on technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Build and present demonstrations for expeditionary networking needs.
• Conduct market research for potential integrations with partners.
• Engage with MARCORSYCOM, MCWL, PEO Land and naval centers.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs and track progress.
• Travel up to 50% and support field testing and demonstrations.
