Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. The role supports field tests, trials, and demonstrations, traveling up to 50% with a remote work option depending on location.

You will partner with Engineering and BD teams to showcase StreamCaster radios, coordinate with MARCORSYSCOM and MCWL, and translate field feedback into roadmap inputs. Strong security clearance and citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field or a high school diploma with extensive defense experience.
• Experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense tech roles.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC operational priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configure systems, and conduct field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with teams to validate architectures and support BD needs with MARCORSYSCOM and MCWL.
