Job summary

Motorola Solutions invites applications for a Business Development Engineer, US Marine Corps, to bridge RF capabilities with USMC requirements. You will work with Applications Engineering and BD to demonstrate field-ready StreamCaster solutions across multiple environments, with travel up to 50% and potential remote work depending on location.

The role requires a technical degree with defense experience, security clearance, and strong communication skills to translate field feedback into product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Must have exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and support field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to benchmark data and verify sound architectures.
• Work with BD to align work with strategic priorities.
• Prepare technical demos for expeditionary networks and edge needs.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and market research.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field

High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience
