Motorola Solutions seeks a Business Development Engineer for US Marine Corps programs to bridge RF capabilities with customer needs. You will work with Applications Engineering to demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios across expeditionary environments and support field tests and demonstrations, with travel and remote work options based on location.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS, or C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Or a high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers and signal generators).
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in analyzing USMC priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support network configuration and live on-air field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to leverage testing data and verify sound architectures.
• Maintain alignment with the Business Development team to meet strategic priorities.
• Assist in building technical demonstrations for expeditionary networking needs.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP proposal responses and market research.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer meetings.
• Track engineering progress against operational needs.
