Job summary

idX Corporation is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. You will oversee production, scheduling, materials, quality, maintenance, shipping, inventory, and workforce development to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

As the primary operational leader, you will partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Master Scheduling, Safety, and Executive Leadership to ensure reliable performance, continuous improvement, and alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years manufacturing leadership experience.
• 3–5 years managing multiple departments in manufacturing.
• Experience in architectural millwork, retail fixtures, displays, woodworking, cabinetry, or related manufacturing preferred.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience; Epicor/Kinetic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Direct production, warehousing, maintenance, and related operations.
• Meet production schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor labor, material usage, and waste reduction for efficiency.
• Review KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and profitability metrics.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate procurement.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and leaders.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
