Job summary

idX Corporation in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a manufacturing facility across production, scheduling, materials, quality, and maintenance. You will drive a world-class safety culture and align operations with company goals.

You will oversee budgets, KPIs, and continuous improvement efforts while collaborating with Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, and Safety teams to meet customer commitments and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 7-10 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• 3-5 years managing multiple departments in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in architectural millwork, retail fixtures, displays, woodworking, cabinetry, or related manufacturing preferred.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience; Epicor/Kinetic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations including production, scheduling, materials, quality, and maintenance.
• Drive safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Improve throughput, schedule performance, and cost efficiency.
• Manage KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and plant profitability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, and Safety for successful project execution.
