You will function as the HR generalist for hourly staff, handling attendance, policies, onboarding, and daily inquiries on the plant floor. You will partner with the HR Manager and staffing agencies to recruit for manufacturing roles, maintain accurate records in HRIS/payroll, and ensure compliance with labor laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; post education is highly preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a similar human resources role.
• Experience supporting HR functions in manufacturing environments.
• Well-rounded HR generalist background.
• Experience recruiting general labor positions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily staff & leadership support for hourly personnel and production leaders.
• Recruiting and onboarding for hourly manufacturing positions in collaboration with the HR Manager and third-party agencies.
• HRIS, payroll and data entry; support timekeeping/payroll processes and maintain employee records.
• Assistance with compliance audits, labor laws, training tracking, and leaves of absence (FMLA) and Workers’ Compensation.
• Culture, engagement and operations: lead recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and vendor management.
