Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; post education is highly preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a similar human resources role.
• Experience supporting HR functions in manufacturing environments.
• Well-rounded HR generalist background.
• Experience recruiting general labor positions.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for hourly personnel and production leaders on attendance, policies, performance, and inquiries.
• Partner with HR Manager and staffing agencies to recruit for hourly manufacturing positions; complete new-hire paperwork and onboarding/orientation.
• Handle data entry into payroll and HRIS systems; support timekeeping and record-keeping.
• Assist with compliance audits; ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies; track required training; assist with FMLA and workers’ comp.
• Lead employee recognition, wellness programs, and event planning; oversee the uniform program and vendor management.
