In this generalist role you will support hourly staff and production leaders with attendance, onboarding, payroll data entry, and HR compliance, reporting to the HR Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; post education is highly preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a similar human resources role.
• Experience supporting HR functions in manufacturing environments; well-rounded HR generalist background.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for hourly personnel and production leaders on attendance, policies, performance, and general inquiries.
• Partner with the HR Manager and third-party staffing agencies to recruit for hourly manufacturing positions, complete new-hire paperwork, and facilitate onboarding/orientation.
• Handle extensive data entry into payroll and HRIS systems, support timekeeping/payroll processes, complete filing, and maintain accurate employee records.
• Assist with compliance audits, ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies, track required employee training, and help administer FMLA, leaves of absence, and Workers’ Compensation.
• Lead employee recognition, wellness programs, and team event planning, while overseeing operations like the uniform program and vendor management.
