Job summary

Anduril Industries in Ashville, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to own manufacturing processes for Barracuda as production scales to Arsenal-1. You will manage build packages, line optimization, and RCCA with real‑time data to improve yield on the floor.

The role requires 4+ years in aerospace/defense manufacturing, a degree in engineering or related field, and experience with GD&T, MBOMs, work instructions, and MES/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or complex hardware environments.
• Degree in engineering or technical field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Reading engineering drawings and GD&T; DFM; work instructions and tooling/fixtures.
• Hands-on experience with complex electromechanical integration.
• Experience with MES/ERP platforms and manufacturing documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing processes and sub-assemblies for Barracuda as production transfers from HQ to Arsenal-1.
• Write and maintain all production documentation—work instructions, MBOMs, tooling and fixture specs, process specifications.
• Drive line optimization by analyzing takt times, cycle times, and throughput data to improve rate and yield.
• Lead RCCA and 5‑Why analysis; implement corrective actions and verify effectiveness with data.
• Monitor first-pass yield and defect rates; apply SPC to drive process stability.
• Manage MES transactions and real-time production reporting for your area.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools; lead kaizen events and standardize improvements.
• Support technology transfer from HQ to Arsenal-1, validating processes and quality standards.
