Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support the transfer of Barracuda production from HQ to Arsenal-1 in Ohio, and to help stand up high-rate manufacturing. This hands-on role covers electromechanical assembly, documentation, data analysis, and line optimization to scale production while ensuring quality.

You will train at Anduril HQ in Costa Mesa, CA for up to 2 months before returning to Ohio, with relocation required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in aerospace/defense hardware environments.
• Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to read drawings and GD&T to spec hardware.
• Hands-on experience building hardware, harnesses, or soldering.
• Familiarity with production documentation and MES platforms.

Responsibilities

• Execute Barracuda product manufacturing with complex electromechanical tasks.
• Maintain build docs, work instructions, MBOMs, and process specs.
• Support investigations and corrective actions to improve yield.
• Record production metrics and surface trends for engineering.
• Assist line optimization and identify waste and bottlenecks.
• Support MES data entry and ensure traceability on the floor.
• Apply 5S and standard work to keep stations organized.
• Participate in technology transfer from HQ to Arsenal-1.
• Communicate manufacturing constraints to design and engineering teams.
