Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer II to own Barracuda production processes as we scale from HQ to Arsenal-1 in Ohio. You will manage build packages, write work instructions, and drive line efficiency while maturing RCCA-driven improvements.

The role requires relocation to Costa Mesa, CA for an initial training period with housing and transportation provided. A strong background in electromechanical assembly and MES/ERP tools is essential.

Qualifications

4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace or complex hardware.
Engineering degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
Familiarity with GD&T, DFM, and production documentation.
Ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical integration and drive RCCA.

Responsibilities

Own manufacturing processes and sub-assemblies for Barracuda as production scales.
Manage build packages: work instructions, MBOMs, process specs, MES config.
Drive line optimization; analyze takt/cycle times to improve throughput.
Use RCCA/5-Why to root-cause floor issues and verify improvements with data.
Maintain MES transactions and real-time production reporting.
Mentor junior engineers and transfer technology to Arsenal-1.
