Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support Barracuda production transfer from HQ to Arsenal-1 in Ohio, enabling high-rate manufacturing. This hands-on role covers complex assemblies, data collection, and process optimization while preparing for a smooth transfer to the new site.

Relocation to Costa Mesa, CA for up to 2 months of training is required. Housing and transportation are provided during training, with ongoing support for the relocation to Ohio.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or complex hardware environments.
• Engineering or technical degree preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T; basic understanding of DFM and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing of Barracuda products and sub-assemblies with complex electromechanical integration.
• Maintain build documentation, work instructions, MBOMs, and process specs; flag gaps to senior engineers.
• Support RCCA and 5-Why investigations; collect data and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor production metrics (takt time, cycle time, first-pass yield, defect rates) and surface trends.
• Assist in line optimization by identifying waste and bottlenecks; improve efficiency.
• Support MES data entry and ensure real-time production traceability.
• Apply 5S and standard work to keep workstations organized.
• Participate in technology transfer as production moves to Arsenal-1; validate processes.
• Communicate manufacturing constraints to design and engineering teams.
