Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a plant site in the southwest area of the Atlanta, GA metro. You will design manufacturing processes, analyze layouts, and lead cost-saving improvements. The role requires SolidWorks proficiency, tooling expertise, and experience with automation and PIC/PLC systems.

Work hours typically 8–5, with potential 45–50 hour weeks. Bachelor's degree and strong manufacturing background are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and MS Office.
• Must have tooling experience and project management skills.
• Automation experience including robotics and PLCs is required.
• Experience as a manufacturing engineer in heavy manufacturing.
• Foundry experience is desirable; zinc/high pressure castings or stamping preferred.
• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design production tooling using 2D/3D software such as SolidWorks.
• Implement productivity improvements on current production lines.
• Perform root cause analysis; apply lean methods and tolerances changes.
• Design and implement processes for new products and changes.
• Conduct FMEAs for designs, materials, and processes.
• Review manufacturability and optimize processing.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for productivity improvements.
• Lead design of experiments and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Lead design review meetings for new/existing products.
• Create work instructions, SOWs, and inventory planning.
• Implement automation, robotics, vision systems, and fixturing.
